How much extra work does poddle create?

When used properly, poddle creates less work and delivers more results! All that’s required of you is to take 20 minutes to set up your Retain & Grow scheme (which we help you with). Then, whenever a customer walks in or checks out, you and/or your staff just tap their mobile phone using the poddle tag we provide you with and watch the magic happen! Don’t worry, our team will explain everything during your personalised onboarding sessions and will be there to support you throughout.

How much does poddle cost?

Right now we’re offering a free trial for eligible businesses, so you’ll only have to cover a small one-time setup fee to get your poddle starter kit (which includes all the tags and marketing materials you need) to get started. After that the system and all of our support costs as little as £30 per month, which is tiny in comparison to the money you stand to make. We even give you the chance to earn more free months as you succeed with the system – because when you win, we win. And if for whatever reason you don’t feel like you’re getting the value you need, you can cancel anytime.

How long does it take to get started with poddle?

In short? Not very long. Once you’ve signed up we’ll send your poddle Marketing Toolkit in the post – which typically arrives within 3 to 5 days. Once that has arrived your dedicated poddle Account Manager will help get you up and running within a matter of minutes.


We don’t just leave it there though, we’ll keep helping you to use poddle until everyone is happy you’re getting the maximum possible return on your investment.

Do I need any previous experience with digital apps and websites?

Not at all. With 24/7 support from our team, and a system that has been designed specifically with you in mind; we’ll have you up and growing in no time.

Are there any setup fees?

For a limited time only we have removed our setup fees. While that offer lasts, you'll get all our support, account management, and your poddle Marketing toolkit - completely free. Please see our pricing page for more information.

How do I join poddle?

Just fill out our poddle application form so we can get to know your business and so you can schedule your free demo. If you decide to join the growing poddle family following that demo, then your Account Manager will help you get set up with everything you need. For more details, see How it Works.

Will my business lose money with poddle?

No; an unhappy customer won't stay with poddle for long, so we only make money when you do. Our step-by-step formula and dedicated support team are single-mindedly focused on making sure you’re keeping more customers and making far more money than the cost of your monthly subscription.

How does the Retain & Grow Scheme work on poddle?

The Retain & Grow scheme is the central pillar of poddle. It allows you to collect customer data, boost customer loyalty, grow sales values, and increase purchase frequency – all in one go. It consists of two key components:

1. Your New Follower Reward. This is an instant incentive that you can offer to new customers to get them to follow you on poddle and also to buy something today. Once a customer follows you they are part of your database – which means you can contact them at any time, and they will see every new message, deal and promotion you run.


2. Your Loyalty Rewards. Whenever a customer visits you and spends more than a minimum amount (specified by you), you will award them a stamp on the poddle App. As they collect stamps, they will unlock rewards via the poddle App. This encourages customers to come back, more often, and to spend more money.

All of this is operated with a single tap of your poddle NFC card, which we supply at the beginning of your poddle journey in your Marketing Toolkit. It could not be simpler.

How do the poddle Accelerate Growth tools work?

Once you have reached a certain number of followers, you will unlock poddle’s game-changing accelerate growth features. These allow you to run sales campaigns and promotions via the poddle App which enable you to maximise sales, boost profitability, improve cashflow, turn sunk costs into sales, and more. All of your followers will receive automated notifications to let them know each and every time you run one of these – meaning you can be making more money from them whether they’re in front of you, at home, on the move, or on the moon.

Common Questions from existing poddle users

How do I manage my poddle account?

Every poddle business account comes with two key tools:

1. The poddle Business Dashboard – you can log in from any desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone to access tools to promote your business, keep your customers, grow sales, build and edit campaigns, review performance, and more.

 

2. Your poddle NFC cards – these cards are part of your marketing toolkit. They use NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, and they make it so that you can do everything you need to for more sales and more loyalty without having to use any digital tool whatsoever. You and your staff will just tap them on your customer's mobile phones to do everything you need.

How do I access my poddle Dashboard?

Please click log in and enter the username and password details you used to sign up.

What if I want to cancel my account?

If you feel like poddle isn’t the right partner for you because you’re not getting the results you need, or otherwise, then you can cancel your subscription at anytime from the Plan & Billing page on your business dashboard.

What’s the difference between a standard user and a super user?

If your business has staff, you can add them to your account so they can help you to collect customer data, build loyalty, and grow sales. You can set permissions to restrict what they’re able to see and do.

There are currently two types of user on poddle:

• Super user

• Standard user

Accounts created for Super users will have access to all account management features and will typically be reserved for the business owners and/or top management.

Most staff accounts will be created as Standard users. This means they can perform any task required to help you grow, without being able to change key business details or to add, remove or amend other account users.

If you are an account Super user, you can use your poddle Dashboard to add, remove and manage staff accounts.

How do I manage my users?

Only a super user can view, create, and manage other user accounts on poddle.

What is a business profile?

Your profile is your digital shop window to the world. It tells customers everything they need to know about your business and helps them to access the rewards and deals which keep them coming back and spending more.

When setup correctly, your profile can become a powerful promotional tool that helps you sell more, to more people, more often – with both existing and new customers – on-street, on the poddle app, and online.

On it you can include things such as your business name, profile image(s), contact details, opening hours and more.

My images aren’t uploading, what should I do?
Check that the image files you’re trying to upload are compatible with poddle, and that they fall within the accepted file size limits. Currently, poddle supports JPEG, JPG and PNG images. If the problem persists, please contact support.
