How to Use Your Toolkit

So you've set up your profile, you've created your Retain & Grow Scheme... and now you're ready to start keeping more customers and making more money. Our account management team will have sent you your bespoke poddle Toolkit, which contains unique promotional materials that will allow you to build up your database of loyal customers by easily converting visitors to your store into poddle Followers.  

You will receive a poddle Toolkit within 3-5 working days which includes the physical assets you need to promote around your premises. These are vital in the journey of your customer in downloading the poddle App, following your business, collecting their New Follower Reward and starting to rack up stamps; all while spending ever-increasing amounts of money with you. 

 

What does your poddle Toolkit include?

Window Sticker

The window sticker will mainly be used to let potential customers know as they walk past that you reward your customers on poddle! 


A4 Poster

This poster is your best way to capture the attention of new customers (who are all potential Followers!) We suggest placing this in a very prominent position on your premises. The poster contains a unique QR code to scan, which details how customers can download the poddle App, sign up, automatically follow your business, and get their free New Follower Reward.

 

Chalkboard

It may just look like a standard chalkboard with chalk and erasers, but these items intend to create a physical place in your store where you can show customers what they will gain on a long-term basis. You can simply note down what Your Loyalty Rewards are.

 

NFC Card & Lanyard

Your toolkit will come with 4 NFC cards, which are unique to your members of staff. Once you receive them, you will need to log in to your poddle Control Centre to assign names to each of your staff members, so you know who is doing what. These NFC cards can be used to: 

  • Directly promote your Retain & Grow Scheme. With a single tap of the NFC card against your customer's phone, you can immediately take them to a download screen for the poddle App. Once they do this, they can sign in, and will automatically follow your business to receive their New Follower Reward.   • Award stamps to your customers. Once a customer has spent more than the minimum amount required to collect a stamp, you can tap their phone with your NFC card; whilst they are on the Collect Stamp screen on the poddle App. They will then be rewarded with a stamp!   • Reward customers. Your NFC cards are used to redeem any reward that customers may have, by either following your business and claiming their instant reward. Once again, make sure that your customers are on the correct page and simply tap your card against their phone to mark the reward as collected on the system. 

 

To set the toolkit up correctly, we recommend the following steps:

  • Step 1 - Place your window sticker facing outwards so potential customers can see you reward your customers using poddle as they walk past.
  • Step 2 - Stick your new follower reward poster inside your premises somewhere customers can’t miss. You want them to see it & take notice before they check out.
  • Step 3 - Write your Retain & Grow Scheme Rewards on your chalkboard, and ensure it is placed somewhere customers will see when they are paying.
  • Step 4 - Give each staff member their own NFC card - one per person - so they can gain you followers, award stamps & redeem rewards, and you can track & monitor them.
